26 And the king, having become deeply-grieved, did not want to reject her because of the oaths and the ones reclining-back [to eat]. 27 And immediately having sent-out an executioner[a], the king commanded him to bring his head. And having gone, he beheaded him in the prison. 28 And he brought his head on a platter and gave it to the girl. And the girl gave it to her mother.
